Starting Diet Weight = 582

It seems that ~587 is my natural peak weight. I haven’t closely monitored my food intake for a year. And I didn’t gain.

Spanky's admittedly in a weird position. So far past the edge, that it can't just be minor changes to diet and exercise. Quite honestly, I have no idea how I'd fix it.

On another note, I'm ~10 lbs overweight. Been doing 2 sets of ~25 push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups each day since New Year. Really liking the extra energy, building muscle, and chipping away at the fat!

Muscle is a higher density than fat, so if you really start to bulk you might gain weight.

Spanky is in a terrible position, in that he is ineligible for bariatric surgery. Really, a gastric bypass or sleeve surgery would have been helpful for him.

I know about the muscle density thing - when I go into these modes, I turn the scale off. It's basically "fake news"... doesn't really tell you anything.

The one difference this time is to not purchase specialty foods or do things that require elaborate preparations. This extra work might be what causes me to fail. Instead I am just eating the types of foods I normally eat, but reducing amounts. I'd suggest rather spend a few weeks very accurately documenting your intake and activity, with a focus on carb reduction to below 150grams a day w/ at least 40 minutes of exercise a day, every day.

And then settle on a specific meal plan and just have that same meal every day, and the same exercise regime. and just do it. No excuses.

Your plan is too flexible. This is your last chance to loose a significant amount of weight.
