Check it out! This was the first day of the diet that is going to preserve his mobility:

Homerun Pizza - Sausage Supreme With Fire Roasted Veggies, 0.5 of the pizza    1,078 Cal      93 carbs  54g fat  2,515mg sodium

And what are the chances he only ate half a pizza?

He's under the Daily Goal of 3,450. Why do you hate his progress?

That’s just the goal that MFP calculates. I would never lose weight at 3450 calories per day. I might gain.

My personal goal is 2500-3000.

Very possible. My caloric needs are lower than the calculators say.  Bikingbill said the same about him.

However, a diet works best if you ease into it.  Just getting in the habit of staying below 3,000 on a long term basis is a good idea.  Because, no matter how hard you diet, if you go back to trifectas, you'll just end up yoyoing. Regaining weight is much easier than gaining it the first time.  It can happen outrageously quickly

Oh come on...your fans deserve more than a week.

Do you really think this McDonald's lunch is appropriate for someone who has serious concerns about preserving his mobility?

Mcdonald's - Filet-O-Fish, 1 sandwich
Mcdonald's - Quarter Pounder with Cheese
Mcdonald's - French Fries (Medium)
Mcdonald's - Coke-regular-large, 30 oz.

It may or may not be depending on what else was consumed on the same day.

Re: Starting Diet Weight = 582

So breakfast plus snack was 1060.  Lunch was 1540.  That gives us 2600.  Does this mean a very sensible 400 calorie dinner?
