Another happy day in BOISE!!!

A door screen needed replacement, so I got the job DONE, nice, tight and right!  The pool is clean, and perfectly balanced.  The cooling, misting system arrived recently, and works great!  We'll have to check it out soon!

In other news, prepare for mosquito pests to appear.

Well, am I right? You bought the lowest cost screening, right? And you bought it from Home Depot, right?

I know.  He has a strange hobby, doesn't he?

91 here in Boise today, short work day for the wife, just in time to try out the pool and the misting system.  And more BBQ chicken for dinner!

Sorry, big guy, you're so easy to lose in the noise.  The screen kit was on hand, so I don't know if I bought it, or where, or if the former owners left it behind.  I suspect the later, but where it came from really has consumed you for two days.  Hasn't it?

I can't live your life for you.  Just don't wave at the trains too high, you might get electrocuted!

What’s louder, Tom?

Trains or low altitude A10 sorties?

I don't know, Spanky, but we don't risk getting electrocuted waving at them.

Anyway, the pool swim was VERY NICE, and I don't expect that the pool contractor is going to anticipate  that we have progressed this far in taking care of this pool.  We have the PH right, the free CL just right and the clarity just right.  Clearing the secondary - pre pump - filter and priming it was an accomplishment.

I got the job done.

I always thought the PH stuff could be automated by a machine. Why do you need to pay a guy to come and do it?

In Asia, you don't need to pay a guy to come.

I suppose it could be automated, as could the chlorination and other tasks.  I'm learning to do that myself.  The pool contractor said I could learn to do it myself.  So far, he's RIGHT!

You do risk having your hand sucked into the jet intake.

Pool chemistry is interesting.

Yes, just like you risk getting shocked working on electrical equipment.  The answer is the same before doing either...…
