I guess he is somewhat backing out of the deal now.

Here's the deal: Immigration policy belongs in the hands of Congress - right where Trump put it.  I get that you hate the guy but at LEAST give him credit for that. Even Jimmy Carter said the exact same thing

You're giving him credit for working with the Dems on DACA. What I'm saying it's not up to Trump, Pelosi, or anyone else's decision to makes EXCEPT Congress.

Both Reagan and Bush 41 did something like DACA. There was no reason to discontinue the program.

No, there's no reason at all to discontinue it, or deport anyone that's on it. But it shouldn't be an Executive Order that keeps the program going.

Is Pelosi a leading member of congress?

You're just arguing to argue.

I'm really not.  Yes Pelosi is a leading member of Congress but Pelosi + Shumer + Trump do not equal Congress

Here is my offer

1: No wall, but the border is enforced by the border patrol, ICE, the national guard on the US side, and the US army on the Spic side.
2: We'll give the 800,000 nightmares their citizenship but this does not extend to any of their family members.  There will also be a 1 strike policy.  If a "dreamer" commits a crime after being given citizenship, back to Mexico he goes.
3: The 800,000 are free and clear, the remaining 29,200,000 are fair game. Gas the ICE trucks, they're going home.

Do we have a deal?

You know, ramping up the staffing for HLS border patrols would mean a lot of good jobs and even better security than a fence/wall.

No.

A wall can't be bribed tricked or targeted. But the money would be better spent building citizenships, taxing them, and limiting fund transfers back to Mexico.

2. The idea is these people have already lived here their whole lives, and are stuck by a technicality that prevents them for seeking citizenship.

3. There is no way to move 29 million people by force out of the country. The only hope is incentivizing return by working with Mexico and other south American countries.

You just have a funny boner about Mexicans.  I'll South Americans any day over arabs or muslims. If you take away the elite's cheap slave labor force, that's plan B to import it from shytholistan where they have a 3-1 ratio men to women in the 18-35 range.

Hence the walking armies of young muslim men all over.
