Tahoe: So much for the idea of sleeping in this morning!

5:30 AM and a huge thunderstorm moved in!  The thunder was so strong, the house shook!

Today is my last full day in the house.  My to do list is getting shorter, but it will keep me busy for the day.  One Lad shoved off last night, while the other will stay until Friday.

I'm off the hill tomorrow and will be with the wife for the night.  Then on Friday, she comes up with her gal pals and they spend the weekend inspecting and getting the place ready for summer guests.

It's supposed to rain all day.

Went out on missions, raining hard and local flooding.  Both the local radio stations are off the air.  Had to wait at the Kmart - their computers crashed.

I thought you got yourself permanently banned at KMart? Or maybe it was Best Buy?

As I was standing out front, a truck pulled up and the second replacement part for the refrigerator was delivered!   It took only a few minutes to replace the cracked and chipped door shelf front.

Still busy!  The bathroom fans have 30 minute timers on them.  The button on one of them wasn't performing well, so I replaced it with one I had in stock.  Home Depot sent me a privacy bedroom door lockset to review.  I installed it, but these new lock sets need a 1" hole for the latch mechanism, not the 7/8" that used to be the standard.  Fortunately, I have a 1" bit.

You're getting the times you were banned from their bathrooms for soliciting poz loads mixed up Mike.

We don't have to worry about Mikey losing it anymore.  It's lost.

That's pretty much a wrap for my visit to Tahoe Acres.  Three days going full steam is enough for now.  Sure, there still are a few chores to do, but nothing a guest is going to notice or lack.  This is usual.

Tomorrow, I meet with the groundskeeper to discuss some changes to the landscaping, meet with the management people on my way out, and head for home.

One son will remain.  He wants to play with the generator.  We got it running again last year and it would be nice if he got it back in service.  It's not something that the guests have access to, but it would be nice to have ready.

He will ship out on Friday, before my wife and her friends arrive for their inspection tour.

Should have bought a Lutron timer. Instead you bought HD garbage. And it failed. Do you ever notice how many posts you make about replacing failed items you previously replaced? This is because you shop on price and not on quality. Spending more upfront means spending less over time.

As usual, you are talking out of the unwiped side of your butt.  You have NO FUQING IDEA what brand I bought or have.  One criteria I have is that it does not have a "hold on" button, which defeats the entire purpose.

Now, you can research that and become an "instant expert".

Have fun.

You didn’t buy Lutron. Period.

Back full circle.  The person who bought the bunk beds took them away.

My considering your wife and kids to be ultra libs is the greatest compliment I can give them.
