Yeah, tell 'em thats cool - you don't want to report on the president and his team's briefs and updates to the public then turn in your white house credentials and exit the grounds immediately.

Exactly.  The courts sort of said you can't exclude reporters for political reasons (bad coverage).  But excluding them because they are blocking the public, especially during an emergency, that seems pretty defensible.
